This workshop helps leaders and professionals develop the skill of influencing upwards in a way that is thoughtful, credible and effective. It is not about manipulation, politics or “managing your manager” in a cynical sense. It is about learning how to communicate insight, raise difficult issues well, ask better questions, and create the conditions for better decisions.
Participants will explore how to build influence with senior stakeholders, how to speak up without becoming oppositional, and how to adapt their approach to different personalities, pressures and power dynamics. You will reflect on where you currently hold back, where you overcompensate, and how to become more confident and skilful in upward conversations that really matter.
The aim is to help you move beyond passive agreement or frustrated resistance and become trusted partners in shaping direction, decisions and outcomes.
