You’re expected to stay calm, think clearly, make good decisions, support others and keep moving things forward — often while dealing with uncertainty, competing demands and pressure that other people may not fully see.
That’s where coaching can help.
I work with leaders one-to-one who want to handle pressure well, navigate change, and grow their impact without losing their footing.
This isn’t about turning you into a louder, tougher or more performative version of a leader.
The aim is not just performance. It’s resilience — the kind that helps you stay effective, human and true to what matters when the pressure is on.
Geoff transformed the way I thought about agile leadership. He took time to understand my preferred styles and we worked together on coaching outcomes which retained my authenticity whilst amplifying impact.
Geoff’s expertise combined with his intuitive and relaxed coaching style, meant that I entered into my first big agile leadership role with confidence.
Every coaching relationship is different. Sometimes the work is about a specific challenge while other times it’s about a bigger shift in how you lead.
Common themes include:
> Leading with more confidence and less self-doubt
> Handling pressure without becoming reactive or overwhelmed
> Tackling people-pleasing, perfectionism or impostor syndrome
> Stepping into a new role or a bigger level of responsibility
> Leading change without carrying everything yourself
> Staying effective and authentic in demanding environments
Our work is confidential, practical and tailored to you. Depending on what you need, coaching can be reflective, developmental, supportive, challenging — or all four.

My coaching is informed by the ideas behind my six books including the award-winning The Coach's Casebook and Calm REBEL Leadership.
I help leaders stay grounded without becoming passive, and challenge what needs to change without becoming combative. In practice, it’s about building the self-awareness, courage and resilience to lead in a way that is both effective and true to who you are.
For many of the leaders I work with, that balance matters becasue they don’t want to burn out, harden up or simply “play the game” better.
They want to lead well, with integrity, in the reality of the system they’re in.
That’s the kind of work I love.
When leaders come to me, it’s often because they are…
> Carrying more than they can process on their own
> Seeing the pressure starting to distort how they show up
> Moving into a new role and don’t want to lose themselves
> Outwardly coping, but inwardly stretched
> Dealing with complexity or uncertainty alone
> Looking to be calmer and more intentional in how they lead
> Successful on paper but not authentic.
If you are capable and conscientious but have become stretched then coaching can give you the necessary support to reclaim your own leadership narrative.
My coaching work is based on my award-winning coaching book The Coach's Casebook.
